SEO, Organic, Non-Organic, Pay-Per-Click

What does it all mean? It can be overwhelming trying to understanding all the jargon and how it actually relates to YOUR business. It's really all about getting your website found. It's estimated that 571 websites are created every minute. That's a lot of websites. So how do you make sure your website is found and easily searchable?  I'll attempt to break it down in the video below. See you after the break.

I am going to break down a little more for ya.

Keywords

Keywords are the terms that are used to search and locate websites and information in a search engine. For example, if I was looking for a plumber in Jacksonville, I would type one of the following terms into the search engine. Plumber, Jacksonville plumber, 24 hour plumbing service, water damage, etc The the search engine would scour the web to bring you the most relevant results based on those terms. This is done in milliseconds. Its really quit impressive.

Paid Results

This is typically called pay-per-click. or PPC.  You bid per click to get in the top three positions on the search page for your keywords. It can be any where from $.05 a click to $1 or more per click. It depends on who else is bidding for that keyword. So you set a monthly budget of $1000. The pay per click pulls from that budget. Once that budget is gone, then you removed from the results of the keywords. You can blow through your budget really quick. So how do we get longer lasting, more permanent , more cost effective search engine results? I am glad you asked.

Organic Search Engine Results

This is where you want to be. 94%  clicks come from the top 5 organic search results Organic Search Results are found, well, organically. Google is constantly sending out little programs called 'spiders". Their job is to crawl the internet and read every website so that the most relevant website is pushed to the the top of the organic results. So how do we get there?
