Graduating college in 2008 amidst the Great Recession was tough enough. But graduating with a journalism degree and hitting the job market in an industry going through massive disruption was especially challenging. I spent the following 10 years in B2B technology sales after realizing my journalism career prospects were slim. In 2018, I joined a podcast agency where I got to blend my sales skills with a growing passion for content marketing, hosting a top-ranked B2B marketing podcast: B2B Growth. Over the years since, I’ve worked on both the agency- and brand-side in sales, partnerships & marketing roles that have given me a deeper understanding of how all of a company’s growth efforts come together.
